the thing about being a good cook is that sometimes you feel like shit about getting told for the hundredth time to diet and exercise more by your doctor. and you go home and begrudgingly make a "diet" meal (more bc you haven't gone grocery shopping this week and are low on ingredients and also need to use up the zucchini that's about to rot in the fridge) and while it looks really ugly it ends up tasting really good.

#i wanna talk about me #too sexy and skilled to make sad sack of shit soup taste bad #oh well #i boiled a couple tablespoons of brown rice in chicken broth with a lot of fine diced vegetable #1/4 onion a big carrot a zucchini and some garlic cloves. boiled til. idk. porridge like #threw in some shit from the spice cabinet...stirred in beaten egg for protein. a drizzle of olive oil on top #itlooks bad but it tastes really good...
